Backtagging: Yes.
Threadjacking: For lighter threads this is fine, for any serious ones please ask first.
Fourth walling: I'm cool with this for the most part.
Subjects to avoid: Can't think of anything.
;ic
Physical contact: He's pretty cool with physical contact, for the most part, depending on who it's coming from.
Kissing: Depending on who it is and how well they know each other, he'd be cool with that.
Flirting: As long as your character is in his age range, go for it.
Fighting: Yes please.
Injuring / Killing this character: I'm good with this. For death or serious injury, I would like if you asked first, so we could plot it out a little.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: He's probably not going to be very happy about it, but sure, just ask if you need info.
Other:
I am aware of how much this character is disliked by the fandom. So if you think you would like to avoid him, I completely understand. Just let me know and I'll keep from tagging whichever character/s you want him to stay away from. This goes double for cannon mates. We can always handwave whatever needs to be handwaved.

Character —
Character Name: Danial 'Danny' Chase
Character Canon: DC Comics / 'New Teen Titans: Games' one-shot
Character Age: 15
Canon Point: After the events of 'New Teen Titans: Games' (a one-shot that branches off of regular DC Canon but showed a different possible turn of events for the team).
Link to History: Here's a breakdown of what happens in the Original Universe LINK, ('Games' splits off from this just before Titans Hunt happens).
And I can't find a synopsis of what goes down in Games, so here's a brief one focused on Danny's part in it:
King Faraday, a spy working for the C.B.I. (Central Bureau of Intelligence) and Danny's mentor, goes to the Titans with the news of a terrorist by the name of The Gamesmaster, who was going to attempt an attack on New York and the Titans themselves.
The Gamesmaster gave King a "Game Manual" with clues to where his agents ("game pieces") would attack around the city. Danny is set to cracking the codes in the Manual and letting the Titans know where each "game piece" is going to attack, and the Titans are each sent to deal with them, until all of them are forced to leave the tower, leaving Faraday alone in it.
Danny eventually gets sent to stop a bomb hidden in the United Nations building, and take down the "game piece" defending it. While he's trying to disarm the bomb, the rest of the Titans managed to defeat, or at the very least survive, the various attacks committed around the city. When Nightwing contacts him to make sure everything was okay on his end, he confessed he couldn’t disarm it. It was made to specifically counter him and his telekinetic abilities. With Danny refusing to give up while there were people still trapped in the building, he makes an attempt to dampen the explosion by surrounding it in a telekinetic shield at the last second, unsure if he can actually hold it back.
The shield does work, but the explosion nearly kills him and costs him his arms.
As all of the Titans gather at the hospital, with Starfire and Danny in critical condition, unbeknownst to them, a force field powered by Titans Tower was forming over the city, and slowly beginning to crush it as it's lowered.
Having figured out that Faraday had actually been the Gamesmaster (after speaking with Raven, and a recovering Danny, who'd both been given hints to this by their "game pieces"), Dick and Cyborg lead an attack against the rogue C.B.I. Agent. Managing to capture him alive, the only way to stop the force field from destroying New York was to blow up the Tower. Which apparently Faraday had not expected they would actually do.
After the disaster was finally quelled, Faraday was put into the custody of the C.B.I., where his fate was uncertain.
Danny recovers in time and is provided with prostheses and physical therapy at a physical rehabilitation center, as Cyborg starts work on designing a new Tower.
Inventory: Aside from the clothes on his back and his prosthetic arms, not much. Maybe an old Walkman.

Powers —
Skills:
Highly Intelligent - With an eidetic memory, his training with the CBI, an insatiable need to know as much as he can, and a practically bottomless pit of information at his disposal due to his former occupation, he's pretty dang smart for a kid his age. Even if his grades in school don't reflect that.
Raised by Spies - The C.B.I. have trained Danny in not only using his powers but in espionage. Despite his age, he is considered an agent of the organization alongside his parents. He's good at information gathering, infiltration, strategizing, defusing advanced bombs, and hacking. In particular, he has become very adept at code-breaking and puzzle-solving. He also has some minor hand-to-hand combat training, knowledge of firearms and how to care for them, knows how to survive under harsh conditions, has very basic nautical experience, and basic first aid training.
Multilingual - Due to his occupation, Danny has had to move with his parents, or be in the field in several different countries, and had to pick up on multiple languages. He knows many languages brokenly, as well as the basics of Mandarin, and Japanese, but is more fluent in French, Deutsch, Italian, and Russian. His ability to pick up on them quickly, has been due to his eidetic memory though, so he's much better at reading or understanding them, than he is at speaking them, and differing dialects can throw him off.
Superpowers:
Powerful Telekinetic - Having been trained in using the ability since age six, and heavily relying on it, Danny has become quite a powerful telekinetic at a young age. He can use it to lift several tons, catch bullets, rip steel doors off their hinges, use it as a temporary force field capable of (if not containing) at least dampening attacks and explosions. He can levitate multiple people and uses it quite often to levitate himself at his leisure, or "fly" when he needs to get somewhere or avoid attacks. But he is also capable of using it for more delicate work, such as carefully taking things apart, or putting them back together, assisting in safe cracking/lock picking, and using objects such as phones or cameras without needing to touch them.
Limitations:
Telekinesis - His power requires concentration to work effectively, so anything that can distract Danny from focusing will make it much harder for him to use it. Extremely loud noises, having to spread his focus over too many people or things at once, pain, and playing with his emotions, can all make it much harder for him to use his telekinesis effectively, or can cause him to lose control of it altogether. And trying to push himself beyond his limits can be painful or dangerous for him. At the very least it would leave him with a massive headache, at worst it could cause him to pass out.
Physically vulnerable - Despite all the training with the C.B.I., it's mostly been focused on mental training, and controlling his power. He's had only basic training in hand-to-hand combat, and it was more self-defense than offensive attacks, so he's relying far more on his intellect and telekinetic abilities in a fight. If caught off guard, or forced into a purely physical altercation, he wouldn't be able to hold his own for very long. If the person he is fighting manages to get past his telekinetic attacks and defenses, Danny can find himself getting thrown around like a rag doll. Though his youth and stubborn attitude can make him resilient, no matter how stubborn he may be, he has a pretty low threshold for pain, and can't tolerate much of it without passing out, or having a harder time using his powers efficiently, or for extended periods.
Prosthetic Arms - When Danny stopped Faraday's bomb, he lost both of his forearms. His left arm still has his elbow, but his right arm has completely lost all of his forearm and part of his upper arm. The skin on what is left of his arms is still heavily scarred, and can be painful, partially due to further damage caused by nanobytes that were created to invade his body during the explosion. Though he has prosthetic arms, he's still getting used to them and may rely more on his telekinesis when he can get away with it.
Doesn't Work Well With Others - Danny can be abrasive, to say the least. He can be snide, condescending, unintentionally callous, and is not particularly good at taking orders if he thinks he has a better plan. He'll sometimes go off on his own or completely ignore direct orders, for better or worse. He's gotten better about this after several blows to his ego over the last year, and how many mistakes he's ended up making, but his attempts to be better about this are very much still a work in progress.
Poor Eye Sight - Without his glasses Danny is functionally blind.
PTSD - Though he's never had it diagnosed, Danny has a lot of signs of PTSD. Occasionally he experiences night terrors, has experienced flashbacks, has a harder time concentrating on "menial tasks", has something of a temper, and is quick to get defensive or lash out if pushed into talking about certain emotions or topics. During his time with the Titans, Danny was triggered into having his first panic attack, after a fight with a villain caused him to bleed in battle for the first time. Though he will gladly boast about his experience as a spy, it's nearly impossible to get him to spill any real details about his time with the C.B.I., but it has come up that he has seen people get seriously hurt, and that death among the C.B.I. was something he had to deal with a lot.
Paranoia - Comes with being raised by spies, and it probably isn't going to be any better after everything that went down with Faraday.
Hematophobia - Blood has been known to be a trigger for Danny. Particularly, being forced to come in contact with it.
Personality —
Please EITHER (1) Summarize your character's personality — including motivations, behaviors, and psychology — in 300-600 words OR (2) Respond to the questions below.
C.B.I. - Both of Danny's parents are spies working for the CBI, who had no qualms with dragging their kid around with them on missions. And when they found out he had telekinetic powers, they were perfectly cool with the CBI putting him through training, starting at age 6. We don't know a lot about his time with the CBI, but when you start drawing lines between what little we do know it doesn't paint a pretty picture.
Titans - When Danny's parents are captured by a supervillain, he gets the Titans to help him save them after he's told the CBI won't. After the Titans save them Danny asks if he can join the team, not wanting to go back to the CBI after they were willing to let his parents die.
His time with them is a bit rocky. He's just generally a bit of a bratty know-it-all 14-year-old in a group of adults/older teens, and it's awkward, but for the most part the Titans take it in stride.
The Death of Jason Todd - During a mission that was too dangerous to bring Danny on, he's left in Titans Tower. While looking for former Titans to help out, he tries to get in contact with Jason Todd (who he'd struck up a friendship with off-panel), only to find he can't and Jason's info has been wiped from all databases. For a week, Danny is left alone to stew over this, calling Wayne Manor, scanning newspapers, the internet, and any databases he can hack into, eventually coming to the conclusion that he's most likely dead.
When the Titans come back he breaks the news in the worst way he could have, and Nightwing lashes out at him. When Dick eventually gathers himself, he ends up kicking Danny out of the Titans. Not for how he acted but because Danny is the same age as Jason was, and while he had been understanding about Danny's inexperience up to that point, he couldn't handle the idea of having what happened to Jason happen to Danny.
Games - After being kicked out Danny is homeless for a while, finding himself cut off from his parents and the CBI.
King Faraday is the one who finds him, dragging him back to the Titans to help take down The Gamesmaster. Which turned out to be a particularly vindictive move on Faraday's part. As Danny was trying to defuse the bomb he'd been assigned to, Spyware (the "game piece" Faraday sent to deal with Danny) has a "talk" with him, informing him that "The Gamesmaster" hated him. And the bomb he created for Danny to disarm was made to cause him as much pain as possible if he somehow survived the blast.
We don't really know how Danny feels about this, he's mostly just shown being content to be back with the Titans. But we do see that his feelings on the CBI have only further soured.
Danny doesn't really do compromise when it comes to his morals. He already sits in a pretty morally grey area having been trained as a spy (something he's reminded of/reprimanded for several times during his stint with the Titans). He isn't above stealing, spying, or subterfuge, and unlike the other Titans, he's not against the option of killing a threat (though he doesn't like the idea, even if he tries to act unbothered when called out on it, and it's a very last resort option). So what morals he does draw a hard line on are the kind he'd rather die for than break. His big one is that he won't leave people behind or let people die if there's anything he can do about it.
His most obvious fear is blood and he doesn't really do anything to avoid that one. People get hurt, he gets hurt, it's part of the spy game, it's part of the superhero life. So he just tries to hide his issues and not let them get to him as best he can.
His other fears mostly stem from his time with the CBI and to some extent were exacerbated by his time with the Titans. General paranoia (particularly when it comes to people's hidden intentions), the fear of being vulnerable or getting too close to people and having it used against him or being punished for it, and the fear that no one really wants him around unless they can use him (something he'd just accepted as a fact before Games). He doesn't cope with any of this very well. He'll keep people at a distance, lie, hide information about himself and can turn cold or abrasive seemingly out of nowhere.
In canon, his goals likely would have been mending his relationship with the Titans, (with Changeling/Beast Boy in particular, who he was arguably the closest with and yet butted heads with the most), and trying to figure out what Spyware meant when she insinuated she knew something about his past that he didn’t (likely by breaking into the CBI and going through their files on himself, or trying to find Faraday and ask him directly).
- What were your character's most formative experiences?:
C.B.I. - Both of Danny's parents are spies working for the CBI, who had no qualms with dragging their kid around with them on missions. - What values, morals, and/or philosophies does your character live by, and how are those beliefs demonstrated? What happens when they have to compromise what they believe in?
Danny doesn't really do compromise when it comes to his morals. He already sits in a pretty morally grey area having been trained as a spy (something he's reminded of/reprimanded for several times during his stint with the Titans). - What is your character afraid of? How does avoiding or preventing these fears influence their actions and decisions?
His most obvious fear is blood and he doesn't really do anything to avoid that one. People get hurt, he gets hurt, it's part of the spy game, it's part of the superhero life. So he just tries to hide his issues and not let them get to him as best he can.

Gameplay —
Areas of Interest / Brainstorming: Danny will probably join the Allience pretty quick. Partly to make sure he'll have a stable living situation, but more because he won't trust them and will think the best way to keep an eye on the Guilds is from inside them. He'll likely either hide his telekinesis entirely, or downplay how powerful it is and claim he only acquired the powers here. I'm playing with the idea of him eventually picking up his alter ego "Phantasm" that he took on in the main universe, but I'm not sure how that will come into play yet.
